Psalm 119:25-32

Application Lord You revive me, You enlarge my heart

Today’s Prayer

Father, we so often think of the passage that says that our hearts are deceptively wicked, who can know them (Jeremiah 17:9) but we forget that Your word also tells us that the sign of a revived life is an “enlarged heart” or expanded understanding (Psalm 119:32). When I behold Your word, holding it close to my heart, You expand my heart with joy (Isaiah 60:5). Father, forgive us, as a nation and as Your church, Your eyes have been searching for the righteous, who have not existed, Your ears have been attentive to our prayers, which have not come, and so Your face has been against us, for doing evil (1 Peter 3:12). Father, we turn now our evil ways, we desire to do good. We want to seek peace, pursue it, and be revived by You (1 Peter 3:11). Praise You Lord.
