Psalm 119:169-176
Emphasis Your instructions are my delight and my joy
Today’s Prayer
O Lord, forgive me, and forgive this nation, and Your church, for losing the truth of the delight and joy that we have in Your word (Psalm 119:174). Father, it is through Your word that we have salvation (Romans 10:17), so, cause us like Job, to say that now we know You and have seen You (Job 42:5), because that is where we find our joy. Then Lord, we will have a sense of riding on the heights of the land (Isaiah 58:14), with praises flowing from our lips (Psalm 119:171) and songs from our tongues (Psalm 119:172).
