Emphasis Your words give great peace
Today’s Prayer
Lord, forgive us as a nation and as Your church for looking for peace in “church programs” without seeking Your will. Lord, without seeking You, these ideas end up being no different than high minded ideals that raise themselves up against the knowledge of You (2 Corinthians 10:5). Father, we confess that we have looked to “programs” rather than seeking You. It is no wonder Lord, that praising You seven times a day (Psalm 119:164) is foreign to us. Cause us Lord to love Your instructions and Your words. Cause us to seek You first, and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), and then Father, we will not stumble (Psalm 119:165) because we will embrace programs only after seeking You through Your word.
